4th of July Bees Game
We had a blast on the 4th of July! Gene and Jer were nice enough to get us tickets to the Bees Game on the 4th with fireworks afterwards. The kids were so excited to go, especially Bransen. He was asking me every 30 minutes or so, "How much longer until we leave for the game?" He took his mit along in hopes to catch a fly ball. We had perfect seats right behind first base. Bransen wore his own baseball shirt and hat too. Brinlee, of course was just excited to see the fireworks but she was better than I expected during the game. I spent a good inning or two in line for food...mostly for the bratwurst for Keyne. The kids got souvenir mini baseball bats, Bransen's it silver and Brinlee's PINK of course! The "BEE" came around and they had fun getting up close to him. The highlight was the end. The kids got to go down on the field and RUN THE BASES. Even Brin thought that was fun. Bransen loved the game so much that he came right home and started watching it again ON DEMAND. He's definitely hooked on baseball!

SUMMER IS HERE
We are enjoying the time off from school. The days are already going by way too fast. Bransen has been busy with T-Ball and loving every minute of it. He is constantly wearing his mitt and throwing a ball in the air. If he's not doing that he's swinging his bat around. We are playing "catch" a lot these days. He's quite the player. He's learning the game and showing some real talent. He caught a pop fly at his last game! He likes to play 2nd or pitch because he says he gets more action there. He goes after every ball hit.
Brinlee is just loving being home and playing with her friends and mom. She's looking forward to dance starting up again. We just painted her room as girlie as can be. It's pink with a Disney Princess border. She loves it-needless to say.
Bransen's room is next! Of course he wants blue with baseballs.
We finally replaced the trampoline we lost last winter in the big wind storm we had. It ended up a few streets over and was bent in half (almost). Bransen had the first accident of the season and broke it in with a dare devil cartwheel landing on his nose! He was hysterical thinking he broke his nose because it was bleeding a ton. We had to literally hose off the tramp to get the blood off. He recovered just fine!

Bransen's Kindergarten Graduation

Bransen and his partner in crime-Andrew. His mom is a teacher at the school too so they would hang out after school and run around like they owned the place, tease (bug) other teachers (especially Mrs. Douglas 'cause she's cute), raid the faculty room for food and their favorite was when Hector the janitor would give them rides in the garbage cans!

Bransen pitching to Dad!
T-Ball

Bransen just got the ball hit to him and he's heading back to third base to get the out. Which he did. One game he got 9 outs!
Bransen is #8
